We're just visiting for a long weekend with a group of RV travelers. Everybody wanted Mexican food so I asked YELP for the best on the island. Once again YELP came through with flying colors. Every single person in the group walked out of there happy. I had a chili relleno & cheese enchilada plate. The relleno was the belle of the dance. It was obvious they use fresh peppers as it had just the right amount of crunch. The cheese inside was completely melted and the gravy was different but really tasty with just a tiny bit of smoky flavor. I liked it so much I ordered one to go. The service and food was excellent!

The food is soo good! Food is fresh and healthy. I loved their shredded chicken and fajita mix. Highly recommend A++

I recently discovered this incredible little Mexican restaurant, and I have to say, it's an absolute treasure. It's out in the middle of nowhere and almost feels like a little secret, but one that's definitely worth the drive. The prices are almost too good to be true, especially considering the generous portion sizes. I've tried crunchy tacos, wet burritos and full meals and everything is delicious. The food has great flavor and is clearly made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. They also still offer unlimited chips and salsa which I feel like a lot of other places have strayed away from but I think that is just part of the great customer service. The staff are efficient and genuinely friendly and even though it's a bit of a trek to get there, I'm more than happy to make the drive for food and service like this. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food at a great value, I suggest making the drive to try La Villa.

Love the guacamole tostada and the cheese enchiladas have the best sauce. Great service too!

The best food on the island , the service & salsa Can not Be beat . The shrimp Fajitas are amazing, the owners always make us feel welcome and do not put restrictions on chips & salsa like The other place . no oil or greasy food here! Rice & guacamole, homemade salsa! Ruben's mole- the best I've ever had. We make our own requests for shrimp nachos and they have no problems filling it to make us happy. So sad to not have them on Monday. Ugh makes me appreciate Tuesday even more ! The chicken soup when you're feeling under the weather is a sure fire cure. I recommend this place #1

I just recently had lunch at La Villa after not eating there for a couple of years. It's not that this place isn't good, I just forget about it since it's out in Bethel Island. Food is always consistent and flavorful. Staff is friendly. I ordered the chicken taco meal and it did not disappoint. Not much has changed in this little place and I like that in a restaurant. When they have something that works don't try to fix it!

I have been coming here for 10+ years now, food is amazing and never disappoints, chips and salsa are addicting, and service is always amazing! Definitely recommend!

Always the best, salsa is on point. Chicken tacos are a go to. This place has been one of my favorite in the far east bay since 2003

Had lunch here on a Sunday and the food is delicious! Great, friendly service. Clean restaurant, cozy and busy. We were seated immediately and the waitstaff came to check on us and took our drink order. She brought chips and salsa with our drinks and took our order. The salsa is amazing! Most flavorful and not too spicy. Our food was served and everything was tasty and filling. Again, the salsa is amazing!
